Terms of Service

LootSkip is a platform that hosts hunt listings. We are never the organizer of any hunt. Skippers create and place hunts; hunters play them. You take part at your own risk and judgment. By using LootSkip you agree to these terms.

• You assume ALL risk. You are solely responsible for your own safety, preparation, and judgment while hunting — including traffic, terrain, weather, and your surroundings.
• Emergency costs are yours. Any rescue, ambulance, medical, or search-and-rescue costs arising from your participation are your responsibility, not LootSkip’s.
• Disputes between hunters are between hunters. LootSkip does not monitor or mediate disputes, harassment, or competition between participants, and is held harmless from them.
• First to legally claim wins. The first hunter to claim per the verification rules (a correct claim code submitted from inside the geofence) is the finder. LootSkip’s verification decision is final for the platform’s purposes.
• You indemnify and hold LootSkip harmless for any claims arising from your participation.

• You are the organizer. If you create a hunt, you are solely responsible for the hunt, the token, and the location. LootSkip hosts your listing; it does not organize your hunt.
• Location warranty. You warrant the hiding spot is safe, public, and legally accessible, with any needed permission obtained. You are liable for trespass or placement issues and you indemnify the platform.
• Prohibited hunt designs. No wilderness, cliff, water, or confined-space placements. No placement requiring trespass, climbing, digging, or tools. Nothing that could look like a suspicious package (no containers near infrastructure). No night-only hunts without explicit safe-lighting design. Nothing that encourages impaired or reckless behavior. Hunts tripping these rules are flagged for review and cannot go Live.
• Expired hunts. When a hunt expires, retrieve your physical token. No LootSkip litter.

• No trespassing — obey all laws.
• Never search under the influence.
• Respect the environment and other people’s property — no digging, no dismantling.
• Leave every spot as you found it, or better.
• Be considerate of people who aren’t playing.

Accounts are for ages 13+ with a guardian’s consent. Under-13 hunters take part only alongside a guardian’s account (a family crew). Cash-prize claims and payouts are 18+ only (our payment processor’s identity checks require it). See the full Minors policy.
