Our story
Adventure is outside. So is the loot.
LootSkip is a real-world treasure-hunt platform where anyone — people or companies — can hide a treasure, post the hunt, and let the world find it. Hunters always play free.
Why we built it
We loved the idea of a city turned into a treasure map — pins to chase, clues to crack, a token to find at the end. Hunt-builder apps had no real prizes; cash-prize hunts were operator-run and locked to one region. Nobody had put it together: anyone can post a hunt, anyone can play, and the find is real. So we did.
Skip the Skipper is your guide — a small captain who pipes up when there’s loot nearby. “Skip” is the hop from hunt to hunt across the map, and the captain leading the expedition. Both meanings are on purpose.
What we care about
Outside beats screens
The map is on your phone; the treasure isn’t. LootSkip is built to get crews off the couch and onto the pavement — a Sunday quest, a date, a family afternoon.
For crews of every age
Families, friend groups, kids dragging their parents. Family-warm by design — never gambling-coded, never extreme-sports-coded.
Real, not virtual
Real treasure. Really hidden. Near you. A skipper hides a token in a safe, public spot; you find it and claim it for real.
A platform, not the organizer
LootSkip hosts hunt listings created by skippers — we are the platform, never the organizer of any hunt. Skippers create and place hunts on safe, public, legal ground; hunters play at their own judgment. We restrict hunts to safe spots through rules, moderation, and reports. See Safety and How it works.
